Again it is a light to medium coverage which means a bit more work with a concealer is needed to cover dark blemishes and scars.

In fact, many users who have had Asian BB creams considers this more of a tinted moisturizer than an actual BB cream.

I'll be the first to admit, I don't even really know what a BB cream is supposed to be. But I'm a sucker for marketing campaigns, and after seeing an ad in a magazine, I decided to give this one a try. At first I was worried it was going to be too dark for my skin (the actual product looked darker than it did on the bottle), but it blends perfectly. It's light and smooth, and definitely blurs out some imperfections (not as much as actual foundation). I love the fact that it's a sunscreen, too. It goes on liquid and then gets soft and powdery. You don't even need a finishing powder.

I would wear the smashbox tinted moisturizer which cost almost 32 dollars. i would apply everyday as part of my makeup routine even if it would be the day i go to the gym, go dancing, or even staying at my houe. i wanted to use a product that was more affordable. I picked this product because the reviews I read on Amazon. I personally like it, and I think everyone has a personal preference to makeup. This product does cover my blemishes, and it doesnt look cakey.

After seeing all the commercials about BB creams, I wanted to know what the hype was about. I have really good skin with no need to wear makeup. I get an occasion pimple every now and then. I only wear eyeliner and lipstick, but lately I was noticing the dark scars from the occasional acne and slight uneven skin tone. I've always wanted just something light to just give my face an even smooth look without the feeling of wearing heavy foundation. I have wore foundation from MAC(NC45) in the past but later quit using it because it made my face itch and I didn't like the heavy makeup feeling on my face.

I have spent days on Amazon reviewing BB cream reviews and watching YouTube videos on BB creams. My initial concern was finding a BB cream for Biracial women. I am half African American and half Thai(Asian). My skin color is more of a tanned Halle Berry. I finally decided to try the Maybeline BB cream in Medium/Deep because of the price. I bought it Walgreen's for less than $10 tax included.

I have been wearing it for a couple of days now and I'm pleasantly surprised. I noticed right away how it evened out my skin complexion. I choose not to wear moisturizer underneath it because the BB cream already contains that and sunscreen. I already have oily skin. I wash my face and moisturize it at night.

All in all I like the product a lot. The only complaint that I have is that I can still feel the product on my face. I guess I was hoping that I would feel like wearing no makeup at all.

is a little goes along way.

No moisturizing is needed before applying the cream and it lasts the whole day no matter the weather. (Well, unless you stand right under a torrential rain).

All you need to do is warm the cream a little in your hands before applying to ensure smooth and even coverage. This BB cream is quick and easy to use and it does the job of many products put together.

Whay did it take so long to the cosmetic industry to bring the BB Cream to the west? This is the most complete beauty product I`ve ever tried since it is a moisturizer with anti-oxidants that reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles. It also has an oil control formula with SPF and works as a concealer!

When I heard of it and even when I started using it I didn`t expected too much because it seemed impossible to have a real "all in one" product! When I first tried it on, in the end of that day, I could feel the softner and I could see the younger looking of my skin. After 15 days using it, my skin looks really perfect. It really works to keep the skin healthy and beautiful all day long!

I don`need to try any other BB cream since the Clinique BB Cream is the most perfect and complete product in the world! I`m glad I finally have found everything my skin needs!

SKIN79 Super+ Beblesh Balm BB Cream VIP Gold Collection (Gold Label)

This is a BB cream more suited to Asian and white complexions rather than dark complexions as it tends to look too chalky on dark complexions. It is also geared more towards dry/combination skin so you may want to read the Pink review below for oily skin.

This light weight Korean BB cream does go on in a grayish sort of tint which can be a bit alarming, until your skin absorbs the cream and oxidizes to your natural skin tone. It has good coverage though and you can layer the cream on to achieve the porcelain look you want.

Some users have added powder to further set the cream but honestly, it does not need it. Powder is an option if you are going out at night and you just want a more ‘set’ look but otherwise, on its own it does the job very well.

the Skin79 VIP gold label  has gold and caviar extracts to nourish the skin whilst the phyto complex moisturizes the skin. A mixture of rice bran, sunflower and ivy extracts called Osmopur protects the skin from harmful environmental elements.

I really love this BB cream. If you love putting highlighter on your face to create a natural glow, you will love this BB cream. With this cream, you can skip the highlighter and still get the glow you want. The texture is creamy and easy to blend. I only use a tiny bit to start with and then build up a little more if necessary so my face will not turn gray as other BB creams I used before. The coverage is light to medium so I still need under-eye concealer to cover my black circles. The finish is not dewy and sticky, maybe semi-matte. I skipped loose powder once and my blush still blend well. My face doesn't turn orange after several hours so the oxidization process is not that scary. Although I use moisturizer and three drops of face oil before putting this BB cream on, my face still feel a little bit tight in the afternoon. So the skin prep before this BB cream is very important if you have dry skin like me. Overall, a very good BB cream/foundation for dry skin type. I have tried Skinfood Mushroom(too dry), Dr G(too gray then turned orange),and Legere Double White(gray then turned orange), this SKIN79 VIP GOLD is the best.

I bought it from PINK GELEE. The seller included 3 Hot Pink samples and 1 VIP GOLD sample. I will try the Pink one to see if it suits me in the summer.

As someone who has a difficult time finding the right color foundation (medium-olive skin of uneven tone), I was somewhat hesitant about buying this kind of product first-time online, but being that BB Creams are not yet readily available in the US, I took the plunge -- and I am so glad I did! I'm so pleased with this product and so excited by it that I'm actually writing my first review in years!

Initially upon application, I was a little shocked and disappointed how "gray" it looked on my skin, but as other reviewers have said, after a few minutes, once it oxidizes (if that's what it's doing), it blends in beautifully, giving skin a smooth and radiant glow, not a made-up look. It's coverage is sheer to medium, so those with problem skin tone might find it falls sort of fully concealing, but I found this BB cream blends wonderfully with both powder or liquid concealer.

Not only did it brighten and smooth out my skin, it feels wonderful both on and after it's removed. I found it wears well all day, and provides wonderful moisture for my dry patches without breaking out my oily T-zone (the joys of mature skin lol). Looks great alone, with powder, or as an all-in-one under full make-up ... I found I did not need moisturizer or primer (even for eyeshadow) as I usually do to keep this BB cream's staying power, and my skin felt softer and smoother than with my usual moisturizer! Rather than emphasizing lines and dry patches like many foundations, I found this BB cream to be really hydrating and truly seemed to minimize the fine lines -- very buildable without caking up at all. I'm absolutely ecstatic with the product results, and am wondering if I'll ever go back to the trouble of moisturizer, primer, and foundation (maybe for very special occasions when I need the 'absolutely-flawless-glamorous' look). This is truly an all-in-one product that delivers wonderful, natural-looking results in one step, and it also has 25 SPF sunblock to boot!

Can't rave enough -- and the bottle is both cute and functional. The seller also included a couple of free gifts in addition to the promised Hot Pink BB Cream which I've yet to try. I do know the Gold VIP BB Cream is a steal for the price and an item worth more than it's weight in gold. I truly believe those who give this product a chance will be thrilled -- I know I was! An absolutely glowing and very satisfied customer :).

Garnier Skin Renew Miracle Skin Perfector B.B. Cream is described as an “all-in-one cream contains vitamin C and mineral pigments for long-lasting hydration and UV protection with a light touch of make-up.” on their website.

There are different formulas but the oil free formula seems to be more popular. However, I have to say that the reviews for this product was not as good as the Korean ones – on Amazon, it had only 3 stars.

The main complaint is the oiliness and it is true, it does not sit as well as the Korean BB creams on the face. The smell of the product is not to everyone’s taste either.

If you are prone to acne breakouts or if your skin is sensitive, this may not be the product for you either. The best thing is to get a sample and try it out for a day or two to see how you react if you have oily or combination skin.

This is a great product for people with dry skin.

In recent years my skin has changed and become DRY. After makeup application I looked pasty! I'm glad I found this BB cream - No more pasty looking skin - Alleluia! Used with a bit of concealer this product gives me an even, moist looking finish.

APPLICATION :

I put some product on the back of my hand. I dip a "stipple brush" evenly & LIGHTLY into the product. I "stipple" (dot) it on my skin, let it dry and then buff it a bit (you can use whatever method you like to apply it.) I am VERY happy with the natural looking results AND the SPF protection.

COLOR/Scent:

I have light olive skin and I use the medium-deep. Pleasant scent is so light, it's barely there.

I have researched a few of the ingredients of this product. Hope it helps :)

Not a household name when it comes to Korean BB creams in the west, but this is a great little product at a reasonable price.

The use of grape seeds oil provides nourishing moisture and contains numerous essential fatty acids such as linoleic, oleic and stearic. It helps dry skin without being too oily and it has antioxidant properties.

As a result, the skin is protected from external elements and has the added benefit of preventing premature aging.

The HANSKIN Premium Super Magic Cream glides on silky smooth and gives mild to medium coverage. It does not irritate skin (grape seed oil is suitable for sensitive skin) and the color gives the skin a nice warm natural glow.

This particular BB cream is fantastic! I was a little nervous at first, because it looks very light when you first apply it. However, it adapts to your skintone, and the result is a flawless finish that looks natural, smooth, and not caked-on like most foundations. It looks great in HD pictures, too. This is better than mineral-based foundations, which I do not find to work well with larger pores like mine.

A nice plus for using BB cream: I've had no new breakouts! If you have some residual blemish scars, you may need to use a concealer pencil (try Shiseido's #1 or #2 shade, wears well) for extra coverage. Also, this Hanskin BB cream is moisturizing, so it won't dry you out.

For the price, just try it!

I have rosea and have looked for something to truly cover it without a cakey look. This also evens out skin tone and gives my  face a lighted effect not shiny. This product is a WOW for me.

With a slightly thicker consistency, MISSHA M Perfect Cover BB Cream 
is ideal for the oilier skins that are prone to break out and acne. Some BB creams start wearing off after a few hours or does not prevent oiliness especially on the T zone, but this one does and a little goes a long way.

The natural beige color is also warmer and more natural than some BB creams. It blends in well with your skin color and looks as if you have nothing on.

The SPF 42 is also an added bonus for those who are worried about sun protection. Some people do not like the smell but we think it is fine.

People who are worried about cosmetics containing mineral oil and/or parabens should avoid this product as it does contain both.

It is a great product if you are always on the go and do not have the time to spend hours getting yourself ready. Again if you skin needs a little extra help, all you need is a concealer and a bit of powder but you will find that over time, you won’t needs these items to look good.

usually don't bother to write reviews for products, but this one I simply could not pass up. I have combination skin that gets really dry and really oily in some parts. This means I usually have dry flaky skin on my cheek area, and acne on my forehead. It's extremely difficult finding foundation that can accommodate both these issues. I've tried a whole range of types of foundation, from compact foundation to liquid, from mineral to tinted moisturizers. Always the same problems: my forehead and nose would be oily by the end of the day, and I would regularly get acne. When I heard about BB creams, I was intrigued.

This was the first BB cream I ever bought and I don't plan on changing anytime soon. The coverage is amazing and the consistency is perfect for blending. This product will last you a very long time because you need very little to cover the problem areas. The cream really brightens up the dark circles under my eyes. I no longer have issues finding a good coverup because this BB cream IS my coverup (and my foundation!). I no longer have oily skin at the end of the day, and my complexion has evened out considerably. I've gotten compliments on my complexion and skin (which was entirely unheard of 6 months ago when I started using this)! I am able to use less and less over time because my skin really is getting that much better.

If I sound like I'm raving, it's because I really do feel that strongly about this product.

One last note, I have medium toned Asian skin color, and the No.23 suits my skin well, especially once it oxidizes. I think the No.21 would be too light for me but I honestly haven't tried it.

The Asian market is responsible for the re-emergence of the BB cream with Korea, Japan and Taiwan setting the trends. The Korean brands are probably more well known in Europe and USA and we have covered four different brands below. Just note that Asians love skin whitening products – having white skin is very sought after so many of the BB creams from Asia will have whitening and skin lightening ingredients and high UV protection.

Dr Jart+ BB Cream

Dr. Jart’s coveted Korean formulas was launched in the UK last June and was received with much excitement. There are several different formulas including ones for blemish prone skin and a ‘water fuse’ BB cream that holds in moisture in the skin.

The one worth trying is the Premium Beauty Balm SPF 45  which brightens and hydrates, has a SPF of 45 and offers light-to-medium coverage. The description is “Bio-Peptide Complex infused with white gold to provide anti aging properties and promote natural collagen” and it also has the whitening agent adenosine.

I purchased this product from Sephora. I have light to medium skin with ruddy tones and bluish tones under my eyes. My daughter has extremely fair skin. We can both wear this product which is amazing in itself. This product minimized my pores and evened out my skin tone. This is probably the best makeup I have ever used. I was using both Lancôme and Chanel for years as well as less expensive brands. I decided to purchase this product because I was going on a cruise and wanted something with a high SPF This product is perfect!

Initially I used a serum with C, E and Ferulic acid under this product and I would caution against this. I had to wash it off after several hours later due to a reaction.

This BB cream has revolutionized my morning routine and brought a glow back to my tired, dehydrated skin. It has spf, primer and moisturizer in one quick pump. The silky cream glides over my skin (sometimes I use a hydrating serum - winter in New England can really dry out my face!) and with a little Bare Mineral's face powder, I'm off!
